Stay in a beautiful 16th-century building, once part of the Convent of Santa Brigida. Located on a UNESCO World Heritage street lined with historic palaces, just a short walk from museums, the University, and the main train station, this apartment offers a unique combination of historic charm and modern comfort. Perfect for couples, families, or anyone wishing to explore Genoa on foot.
The apartment measures 75 sqm and is located on the second floor (26 steps, no elevator). It is bright and spacious, recently renovated while preserving the original Genoese terrazzo floors, and furnished with high-quality design pieces. Check-in is autonomous via a lockbox.
The Apartment
Recently renovated with great attention to detail, the apartment retains original 19th-century mosaic floors and features vintage designer furnishings, including chandeliers by Luigi Caccia Dominioni, Flos wall lamps, and Cassina upholstered chairs.
Living room: very bright, with sofa, armchair, TV cabinet, smart TV, and extendable dining table. The window overlooks a small, quiet square.
Bathroom: spacious, with window and walk-in shower for a relaxing experience.
Bedrooms:
Main bedroom: double bed (can be separated into two singles), two-door wardrobe with mirror, chest of drawers, and luggage rack. Two windows overlook Via Balbi (open only to public transport, taxis, and emergency vehicles). Double-glazed PVC windows ensure good sound insulation; earplugs are also provided.
Second bedroom: double bed, wardrobe, and vintage bedside tables. The window overlooks a quiet little square.
Study: a versatile space, ideal for relaxing or smart working, with a reclining armchair, desk, chair, lighting, and storage units.
Kitchen: fully equipped with oven, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, blender, kettle, induction hob, and dishwasher.

In compliance with Italian law, we are required to collect ID details for all guests. A check-in link will be sent 72 hours before arrival.
The entrance door is wooden with two leaves (45 cm each); both can be opened if needed.
The hallway leading to the bathroom is 80 cm wide; the bathroom is accessed via a step about 10 cm high.
The shower is walk-in. A washing machine and dryer are available.
Windows: double-glazed PVC in the living room, study, and bedrooms; double-glazed aluminum in the kitchen and bathroom.
There is no gas system: the hob is induction, and the water heater is electric.

Via Balbi is only accessible to public transport and taxis. We do not have private parking, but parking information will be provided after booking.
