Treetops Chalet

The location was beautiful. For the most part the house was very comfortable.

Dirty cutlery, dirty pans, dining table and chairs on their last legs. Didn’t like the fact that we had to wash cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils because either the last guest or the cleaner didn’t.

The location was good, a nice quiet neighbourhood

We had to pay a $120 cleaning fee even though we were also told to clean the house before leaving. Many dishes in the cupboards were still dirty, same with utensils. The fridge had a weird smell and so did a few of the bedrooms. I think if we’re paying a cleaning fee we can expect the house and its facilities to be clean.

It's a beautiful house in the mountains. Amazing garden, you can find everything in the house. It was warm.

Location 3 bedrooms

Host took 24 hours of ongoing exchange of messages to determine that the tv did not work because the antenna (located in one of the bedrooms far from the screen) was not plugged in, then to work out that batteries in remotes were flat and never did provide instructions for use. The gas cooktop burners were very dirty and gas did not pass through many of the holes so heating very uneven and gas smell quite strong. Oven instructions finally found after asking host and getting no helpful response - under messy notices on fridge All in all the instructions for use of house’s facilities were woefully inadequate if we could find them at all
