The location is great and super quiet.
The cottage has lots of original features which was nice.
The heating was very effective and worked well (where there were floor vents).
The kitchen is quaint and has everything you need.
Linen and towels were provided and the bed was very comfy.
Bathroom has aged beyond its use by date and desparetly needs updating. The tiles on the floor of the shower were loose and the room was freezing, with no heating and tiled floor.
After dark, the steps leading up to the cottage from the road need to be lit. Its very hard (and a little dangerous) to negotiate without a torch and absolutely no good if you have any mobility issues.

Super quaint and rustic! A perfect getaway
I wasn’t aware that there was no wifi but that was my own fault for not checking. Enjoyed the stay regardless, was able to enjoy more of the mountains without my phone
