Lovely, very clean and tidy place. Everything there that you need for a lovely stay . A good nights sleep was had too .

Nothing not to like - except steep road up to the house and parking in the road not always available

Very comfortable bed and the whole house was very clean.

No downstairs toilet very limited headroom to the top floor bedrooms. Struggled to work the heating. Short of an outside light and some seating at the front of the property

We had a lovely stay at Salt & Sage in Whitby and would happily recommend it. The house was spotlessly clean, and the towels and bedding smelled absolutely amazing, such a lovely little touch! We were also really pleased to manage to park right outside the house, which made things so much easier. The location was fantastic too, much closer to the centre than we had expected, making it really easy to walk into Whitby and explore. We also really appreciated how much thought had gone into the guest information. The contact information provided was really clear and helpful, and the app was a fantastic idea, it was really handy having useful information, recommendations and tips all in one place.

The only small downside was that there wasn’t a dishcloth/ sponge provided and unfortunately the neighbours were drilling at around 9pm and again from about 8:30am. However, we completely appreciate that this was outside the owners’ control and it didn’t detract from our overall stay.
