Villa Pelicano offers more than 9,000 square feet of living space with 6 bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms—an unforgettable setting for families and groups seeking privacy, comfort, and personalized service.
The villa features four spacious king master suites with air conditioning, high ceilings, and access to ocean- or jungle-view verandas. The fifth bedroom has a custom bunk arrangement with two twin beds above a king-size bed, while the sixth bedroom offers a king bed, air conditioning, and peaceful jungle views.
Surrounded by five acres of lush rainforest, Villa Pelicano feels like your own private wildlife sanctuary. Watch monkeys play in the trees, spot sloths resting among the branches, and listen for toucans and scarlet macaws flying overhead—all from the balconies, gardens, and pool area. Every day brings a new opportunity to experience Costa Rica’s extraordinary wildlife up close.

Best of all, your stay includes a private chef who will prepare up to two customized meals per day. The chef takes care of the shopping, cooking, and cleanup, leaving you more time to relax and enjoy paradise. Food and beverages are additional, and original store receipts are provided for reimbursement.

If you’re planning a family trip to Costa Rica, you’ll quickly realize how much there is to do. That’s why I want to start this review not with the villa, but with the incredible people who made our trip unforgettable.From the start, Geralyn was amazing. She was extremely communicative during booking and went above and beyond helping us plan activities—not just in Manuel Antonio, but also in La Fortuna. From white water rafting to other excursions, she was generous with her time, knowledge, and genuine care in making sure our vacation was perfect before we even arrived.When we arrived at Villa Pelicano, everything exceeded expectations. Meeting Geralyn in person confirmed it—she was warm, welcoming, and got us settled in right away. Throughout the week, she was always responsive and truly invested in making our family time special.Chef Cesar was another highlight. Every meal was delicious, beautifully presented, and thoughtfully prepared. You could feel the pride in every dish.The villa itself is stunning. Set on 7 acres, the views are incredible. We arrived around 4 PM and were greeted with a breathtaking sunset that set the tone for the week.Comfort was top-tier—great AC, spacious rooms, and some of the best beds we’ve ever slept in.From start to finish, Villa Pelicano exceeded expectations. It’s an investment, but absolutely worth it. We can’t wait to return.

Villa Pelicano is Villa Perfecto! Do not hesitate to make this beautiful villa home base for your next Costa Rica vacation. Our group of 5 families, consisting of 9 adults and 7 kids, LOVED our week-long stay here and would not change a thing. The house and views are gorgeous, and the pictures simply do not do it justice; we are all still dreaming of our time spent lounging on the terrace, in the pool, and watching the wildlife (monkeys, macaws, and sloths) with our morning coffee. And if all of this wasn’t enough, the staff that comes with the house is hands down the best you will ever find. Cesar and Ingrid were the private chefs we never knew we needed, and we were treated to two fabulous meals each day from them. And the housekeeper was a revelation - she kept the house immaculate the entire stay and even did our laundry daily! The groundskeeper ensured the pool and grounds matched the inside. But the cherry on top of all of this was the house concierge, Geralyn, who worked with me personally for months in advance of our trip up through our departure to make sure every single need of ours was met - from all transportation for the 16 of us from the moment we landed in San Jose, to all of our excursions, to the menus we planned for our first 2 private chef meals (including a 50th birthday party upon our arrival), to making sure any groceries we wanted in the house were there when we arrived. In other words, she made our vacation perfect and made us want to return here soon!

Our stay here was fantastic. The squirrel monkeys came right up on the porch daily and let us get close and watch them play. Lots of wildlife to see right in the back yard. The beds were the most comfortable beds I’ve stayed in. Each room had its own entrance and bathroom. The bunk room downstairs was not connected to the main floor so with small kids we did lock them in at night. Great location with a great view. The hostess was very helpful for helping us book tours as well.

We had an incredible stay at the Villa Pelicano! The scenery was immaculate--including the gorgeous sunset views and local wildlife around the property (the monkeys were our favorite!). Private chef services are included in the rental, so we never had to worry about where we would get our next meal. Every dish prepared was delicious!! I also cannot say enough about our amazing concierge, Geralyn. She went above and beyond to meet our every need, and was always available for any questions that we had. The property was kept in pristine condition, which made for a incredible, comfortable stay. Highly highly recommend Villa Pelicano!!
