Outside, there is off-road parking for 2 cars. Within 0.2 miles, you will find a shop, within 0.1 mile, a pub, within 0.5 miles, a river, and within 0.8 miles, a lake. Region: Visitors to the Cotswolds have long treasured memories of charming towns and villages built from the famous honey-coloured stone, it now boasts a thriving community of contemporary artists working from studios and shops throughout the area.
Town: The thriving village of Harvington is situated in beautiful Worcestershire countryside close to the border with Warwickshire and on the Blossom Trail. Harvington boasts an excellent well-stocked farm shop and two traditional village pubs, one of which is a triple award-winning CAMRA pub and both serve home-cooked food and local real ales. Harvington also has fishing lakes, a cricket pitch and an 18 hole golf course, and many walks can be enjoyed from the village, with the long-distant footpaths of Shakespeare's Avon Way, Heart of England Way and Wychavon Way running close by. The nearby village of Bretforton boasts its own community-run village shop and a 600-year old inn, owned by the National Trust, which hosts many music, folk and food and drink festivals throughout the year. The quintessential English village of Broadway has individual shops and boutiques, art galleries, restaurants and hotels including the world-renowned Lygon Arms, which has been popular for centuries and now offers spa facilities, enjoyed at pre-arranged times. The surrounding countryside is famous for its fruit-growing and market gardening, and Harvington is a great base for exploring the many unspoilt Cotswold towns and villages, along with Cheltenham Spa, with its Gold Cup Festival, the magnificent Royal Forest of Dean and Worcester, with its magnificent cathedral. The birthplace of William Shakespeare, Stratford-upon-Avon, is just a short drive away and offers many historic buildings, a theatre and the pretty River Avon. Regular bus services from Harvington can take you to Stratford-upon-Avon, Evesham, Warwick and Lemington Spa.
