Stunning cozy cottage and quiet area! Beds were ever so comfy! Maybe the comfiest ive ever slept on! Felt at home with the comfort!

Shower was the worst one ive ever used no power whatsoever just a tinkle and burnt myself with how hot the water was! Horrid drain smell coming from shower too.

Clean, Cosy and Quiet Cottage

Lovely clean, cosy and warm cottage. Left to our own devices, can see sheep from the windows in the fields next to you, beautiful place to wake up to. Fresh eggs and honey can be bought from the main farmhouse. Enough room for one car per stay. About a 20/30 min to Bourton on the Water and other areas close by. Good quiet base if you have a car to travel to other areas. Comfy bed and warm through the night.

Longer check out times would be appreciated, would of been nice to enjoy the morning an hour or 2 more but understand that cleaners need access during this time.

Low hot water pressure. Cracked shower and bath panel. Reed diffuser smell is very overpowering. I have contacted the owner and the bathroom is being replaced in the near future.

Beautiful, relaxing and cosy.

It was a lovely touch when we arrived to find a bottle of milk in the fridge and a bottle of Frexinet to welcome the New Year.

We would have liked the opportunity to recycle our rubbish. Instead we took some of it home.

A lovely and relaxing stay in a beautiful cottage, we would happily return.

It is very clean and beautifully decorated. Peaceful location and the owner was extremely friendly and thoughtful.

Water pressure in the shower was low and the heating could work a little better, but it did not affect our comfort overall.

It was great and would highly recommend it for anyone.

It is a really nice cottage that is specious enough for a family of 4. They had all the kitchen equipment you need to make a meal and the living room is a nice cosy space. Also the instructions to check in were provided well in advance and were very clear.

The only downside is that the wifi was a bit slow.

We found the property clean , tidy and fairly well positioned in the sense that most of nice places in the Cotswolds were of easy reach . …by car. Everything one would require for a short stay were catered for in the cottage We would recommend this to other people and we ourselves would like to visit again..

Winter Break November 2025

The beds were comfortable. The catering facilities were great. Parking onside was a bonus. The communication from the host was good. We enjoyed getting other peoples music through the blue tooth mirror. We loved the little cottage. We would return and recommend.

The shower was shocking and we couldn't wash our hair despite pressing the eco button as recommended on the shower. It was barely a dribble and not fit for washing thick hair. We would've liked to lock the shared front door to feel more safe. The guttering on the entrance to the front needs some repair. Privacy in the bathroom was lacking with only frosted glass with the same issue in the living area.

Cosy Autumn Weekend in the Countryside 🍂

Really cosy, clean and warm. Perfect size for the 3 of us with cosy chairs, lovely homely decorations and good facilities i.e. good oven, shower and bluetooth speaker! Location was nice and quiet and close to a nearby coop for supplies and a cosy, traditional pub a 5 minute drive away. We spent the day in Stratford-Upon-Avon which was also close by. The host Fiona was really lovely. We asked to buy some fresh eggs from the farm as this was an option, however they were running low on eggs. Only 3 of these were left and Fiona was kind enough to give us these for 3 and they were very tasty! We would definitely stay again 😊

Great cottages for a weekend break

We are 5 friends who met at university many years ago and now live across the country. We were meeting for a weekend away. The cottages were a perfect base - great location near to the train station and with shops nearby. The cottages were well equipped, well presented and clean. The owner Fiona was lovely and helpful and gave us some great suggestions for places to visit. We will be back!

Two nights stay

The location was good, not too far from the north of the Cotswolds. The cottage had everything in it and it was not noisy as not all the others were occupied.

The toaster only toasted on one side of the bread, the coffee machines did not work, we tried on both days but nothing came out. It would have helped if I had known that the double room had a door but the two single beds were above the landing from the kitchen. It was not clear as the pictures on the website are for all the accommodations not just the one we had booked. I am not sure how we could have walked to the village/town when there was no pavement on the road.

The fridge to didn't work properly, when come to leave the food items that were left in the fridge were all wet has the fridge had stopped working. The dish rack for putting the dishes to dry was a waste of space and the dishes wouldn't stand in it and felt it was put there just for decoration.

Get a fridge that worked and replace the rack for leaving dishes to dry.

Calm and quaint

The location was out of the way and even though it’s by a train station you don’t get any noise coming through when trains go by

It seemed to be busy or possibly fully booked and some guests arrived with more than one vehicle meaning you had to block in someone’s car to be able to park as you don’t have access to the field next to the property.

A little gem in the heart of the Cotswolds

We stayed at the cottage for a friend's wedding in nearby Mickleton. It's a perfect location for everything. The train station is just a few minutes' walk with great links to London.

Lovely cottage with everything we could have needed for our stay over the weekend. We were visiting for a wedding, however we utilised the cooking facilities & the lovely outdoor seating area. It was very peaceful & comfortable.

A really lovely stay in a beautiful setting. Nice and peaceful and brilliant location for exploring the area. Lovely friendly owner. The bed was very comfy and I struggle with back issues so always worry how my nights sleep will be but it was great. We would definitely visit again.
