Great location in a lovely, pretty village

Great location. Limited parking at The Lodge so parked in The Lygon Hotel carpark which after registering the car was straightforward. Loved the themed rooms at the hotel. Had breakfast at the coffee shop round the corner. Very pleasant stay. Would stay again.

Central to Broadway which is great. Has WiFi. No parking worth mentioning but you can park in Lygon arms if you speak with reception there.

Nothing really. Some stairs to climb that will be a problem for some probably. Some may find it a bit tricky to find, but it’s at the back of the cafe next to Lygon arms.

Great stay

Location. Decent size room, with tea & coffee making facilities and fridge. Great power from the shower. Comfortable bed. Milk and water in the fridge and biscuits on arrival. The cleaning staff were friendly and helpful.

Green flashing light in room all night. Must be the alarm of some description and also necessary of course.

Nice stay but just a couple of areas that let it down.

Property was very attractive and the location was excellent. Very clean and comfortable to sleep in. Nice touch with the radio and hot drinks station.

Unfortunately, before check out time the cleaner was hovering the hallway disrupting our stay. Personally, I don’t think communal areas should be cleaned until after check out time. The cleaner banged the hoover head on our door a couple of times quite loudly, lots of talking outside our door too. Not an ideal way to wake up when on a break. The cleaner also opened our door without knocking first which we then locked for privacy. Small matter but would have been nice to have some biscuits with the hot drinks in the morning. Fridge in the room is quite noisy, we turned it off in the night to help us sleep. Lastly, payment was taken from my account twice which I had to flag to have refunded - albeit refunded quickly, a silly mistake to happen in the first place.

The room and its location were amazing just what we wanted, it was clean spacious and it had a radio playing Christmas music when we arrived it was just perfect !

Excellent location, easy parking in the Lygon arms , clean comfortable lovely staff plenty of clean towels. Easy book I and check out.

Could benefit from double glazed windows- the metal windows very drafty and lots of condensation .

Great location and property.

Gorgeous themed room. Beautifully appointed. Great location. Clean and a lovely place to spend time.

The bed… the mattress was not good. We each felt every movement. I eventually moved to pillows on the floor so one of us could sleep. When we left we saw the bed in Hare and it looked amazing - more robust and deeper mattresses. We would book that room next time as we loved the property.

Location was perfect right in the centre of broadway. Spacious room and bathroom. Cold water and milk for coffee in the fridge on arrival which was great after a long drive.

Only thing I would say is the room could do with a full length mirror.

Perfect Christmas overnighter in Broadway!

The location was excellent, right next door to The Lygon Arms where we had dinner (this was our reason for visiting Broadway). The room was spacious and the bed linen felt very luxurious.

Not really a complaint but the room was very hot until we were able to turn the radiators down.

Good location but overpriced

The location is excellent, right in the heart of Broadway. The room had everything you need to make coffee in the morning, which is a plus. water pressure in the shower is off the charts. You can strip paint with it.

I think it was extremely overpriced for what it was. There's no staff and the whole place felt like an upscale youth hostel, kind of basic. I wouldn't complain if we had paid accordingly. The bed was small for two people and the mattress was too firm for my liking.

Lovely boutique hotel with high end touches for a comfortable stay!

Beautifully decorated and very centrally located. The amenities were lovely - gorgeous bathroom with high end toiletries and nice touches like fresh milk for morning coffee in the fridge and complimentary cookies.

We arrived at night so it was a little difficult to find the parking - we did in the end, but perhaps this could be better marked.

There were only 2 parking spaces at the accommodation. These were already in use when we arrived at check in time!! The room had a broken window that was taped up!

Water pressure wifi location and comfy bed

Had to ring twice to get code to access the building as never received text message. Very warm room even with radiators off windows open. Bathroom fan constantly going flashing fire alarm in room smell of chip fat and random pipe noise every so often led to very little sleep

A convenient location and nice room, but checking in was frustrating.

The room was clean, large, and reasonably quiet.

The check-in process was confusing and unexpectedly difficult. It was not obvious when I made the booking that the property was only accessible via a code to enter the facility and a lockbox to enter the room, details of which I am pretty sure I had not received. What I did receive was a series of emails exhorting me to check in online. I had not done this (owing to other priorities) but, when I eventually gained access to the property, I tried the online check-in process retrospectively (expecting to stumble upon guidance to gain entry), only to find that the sole purpose seemed to be to access my card details in case of additional costs. Back to the acccess issue... Gaining entry was achieved by asking a member of the neighbouring Lygon Arms staff to help us. Fortunately, he knew the keypad code. However, we still needed to gain access to the lockbox. I called The Lodge number, and a lady kindly provided this. To summarise, we were wrong-footed by this process, which is reminiscent of an AirBnB-style accommodation. I was expecting to find a person in a reception area, but this was not the case. We arrived at around 7pm, and it was dark, adding to the challenges. Other things to mention: I was charged twice (but quickly refunded). The directions to the car park only work if one arrives from an easterly direction. This should be mentioned in the instructions.

Comfortable, cosy and clean.

Our room was comfortable and nicely decorated with added homely touches, like the radio playing when we arrived. The bathroom was very spacious and towels thick and luxurious. The directions and parking instructions are complicated - the lodge is actually behind shops on the main road and reception is a foyer that leads to the different rooms all reached via stairs. Location was central to the main road with cafes, shops and restaurants.

Great last min stay for work.

Lovely spacious apartment and great value

Only down side what constant smell of stale fat in the bathroom and kitchen from downstairs cafe which was unbearable and made us feel ill. Place could do with a lick of paint looks grubby.Bathroom needs a bigger bath as I could not lay in it and I am 5Ft 2. Carpet needs replacing in living area as this was quite dirty,had a toddler running around on it. Also high chair would be great as it claims it’s a child friendly place.

Weekend retreat

The hotel is right in the heart of Broadway so, once the car is parked, everything is within walking distance. The room was really nice with a huge bathroom and all very clean and comfortable.

Location, close to event we were attending in Broadway, close to shops, cafes, things to do and easy to walk to countryside. Managed to park at Lodge car space, but liked that there were alternatives if necessary. Comfortable clean room. Mini fridge handy.

Great location with a super comfy bed

Perfect location just off the high street. Bright and spacious room, very clean with an en-suite with a great shower. The bed was really comfy and we had a good nights sleep.

Better instruction to get to the room from the parking space. If we were told to go through the parking for George apartments that would have made things clearer
