Hotel Riva

The property was gorgeous, loved the colour in the room and the decor. Felt very homely and very Venetian. The view outside the window was gorgeous. Right on the canal. Really amazing location too you’re right in the middle of everything. The famous Dal Moros is literally as you turn the corner outside the building and it’s right next to a little bridge to cross the canal. A gondola man is right outside too. Very easy access love that the doors were simple to get into. Very pretty building and interior. There was aircon perfectly facing the bed so you could keep the room cold and it was really really good air con! Thankful considering it was hot out! I only wished we had stayed longer than we did! If I come back to Venice I will 100% be booking this place again. We adored it. Thank you for a gorgeous stay and I 100% recommend this place.

A little smaller than expected. Photos made the room look bigger but it was perfect for our 3 night stay and we weren’t in a lot anyway! Important to note that Venice buildings are all like this and I didn’t realise that until I got there! I think we had the best hotel in Venice. Could have done with an ironing board but at least we had an iron. No lift for guests but this wasn’t really a big deal, it’s not easy to put a lift in older buildings like this and that’s part of the beauty but just something to be aware of for wheelchair users etc. there’s no staff or reception but we didn’t have any problem with this. If anything it made the place feel more like your own. Actually don’t have anything that I didn’t like! It was fantastic. Just some bits to acknowledge.

Das Zimmer, das Bad, das Haus, die Treppe (schlecht für Personen mit eingeschränkter Mobilität, aber das ist halt so in Venedig). Als ich anrief, hat sofort eine nette Frau geantwortet, die mir helfen konnte. Desgleichen mit Mail und WhatsApp. Auch die Lage: top! Gleich hinter dem Markusplatz und Gondelservice vor dem Hotel. Und die vielen Gondeln, die abends dort passieren, einfach faszinierend. Die Matratzen sind sensationell!

La ubicació i el disseny de l'interior

No hi ha ningú treballant a l'hotel i es fa complicada la comunicació. A la nostra habitació no funcionaven 2 llums i no van venir a arreglar-ho. També els vaig demanar si tenien planxa de roba i servei de bugaderia i no van contestar.
