Lovely surroundings, spacious accommodation

In need of a deep clean

Easy access from London and grounds were nice and open for those with dogs. Swimming pool was nice. Outdoor dining space was surprisingly cool despite heat wave. Games room was close at hand Air conditioning in the living room was good. Price was very reasonable

Some basic facilities lacking. Not enough loo roll. No cleaning products provided. Corridor light bulbs all blown and need replacing. Cutlery not clean and needs replacing. The bedrooms retain a lot of heat. Unfortunately even with fans it was almost impossible to sleep and unfortunately 2 of our party left early back to London as they could not sleep at all. Construction ongoing in the field opposite so not as private as one would hope for. BBQ although functional was very dirty and no charcoal provided.

Overall the place was great. Good facilities. The place was clean when we arrived. Antony was very responsive when we have been messaging him! The outside area is overall clean. I would suggest to clean the outside play area where the poole and tennis table are based. There was only one Table Tennis ball, but when communicated with the property we were told that a new set was purchased but we couldn’t find them !! The indoor pool was overall ok, but there was the occasional odd smell every-now and then although we had the purifier on!!! The property overall is in excellent shape. We as a group have done this for the 4th time to meet as good friends as we are scattered all across the UK and this meeting happens almost on annual basis, and they all agreed that this is the best accommodation we have been to so far!!!!
