    The hotel has had a makeover so looks better now than in their online photos. The breakfast room has been replaced with free breakfast items and a fridge in your room which we preferred. Out complaint is that we asked for a twin room as not a couple but they put us in a double which was awkward. They said they would move us the next day but we came back to our bags being put in our original room. The reception and management staff were indifferent but Barbara who cleaned our room was lovely and gave us extra sheets. I would stay again as a couple if cheap enough but I would risk it travelling with my friend.

    I had a nice stay. This hotel has old fashioned, historic vibes, and I felt like I traveled back in time. Breakfast was really small, and sadly, the stuff was continuously forgetting to put tea , coffee, plates, and cutlery in my room,. The room was tiny, a bit claustrophobic. But it was a good value for money. Barbara was very helpful, and I felt my needs were met.
