A pleasantly decorated property which is a good base for accessing other parts of Cornwall once you have navigated the single vehicle roads. Support from booking team was really quick and responsive when problems arose. For more able-bodied guests, the views - once you walk away from the property - are beautiful and the nearest cove was often empty giving it a unique and private feel.

A misleading property listing as this property is not "beachfront" as beachfront means land or building that sits directly next to or faces a beach with no barriers. The property (as another review voiced) is built behind a large and imposing former hotel so no beach views only walls or car park (you can see the sea from one upstairs bedroom window if you stand close to the far side of the window). Close to beach would be a more accurate listing type. In addition, one of the photos on the listing at the time of our booking showed grass and a simple 3 bar fence with direct beach access, this is not at the property and we never found this easy access as realistically the property is too high up land for this to be nearby photo. You can access a cove but this is via a very steep coastal path and not suitable for less-abled people (or buggies/pushchairs/trollies), which unfortunately some of our group members are. If we had known about the steep access, blocked views and no direct beach access, we would not have booked this accommodation as not suitable for our needs. As per other reviews, no hot water issues but booking team attended and created a video to assist on future use but is still a very temperamental shower system of trial and error. We also had no toilet rolls, no baking trays, no kitchen tongs, no egg cups and as another review said, very limited supplies of glasses and mugs (two to four of each and listing is for up to six people) and other resources. Once again, booking team were fabulous (Malcolm) and went out and bought and delivered everything the next day. There are two allocated parking spaces for the property but unfortunately there were at least three occasions throughout the week long stay when others were parked in one of the spaces (we had two cars).

Unterkunft ist wirklich gut und sauber, alles Sites, was man braucht. Recht liebevolle eingerichtet. Nähe zum Meer ist toll!

Haus steht in zweiter Reihe, daher kein direkter Blick auf das Meer. Das ging aus der Beschreibung nicht hervor. Bank am Rand konnte genutzt werden, mit Blick aufs Meer. Dusche haben wir bis zum Ende nicht verstanden. Manchmal kommt warmes Wasser manchmal nicht. Sehr undurchsichtige Technik. Terrasse hinter dem Haus war gar nicht gepflegt.

Perhaps a few more drinking /wine glasses, and cafetière ( as is listed as having one on website) Small leak from the shower through to the floor below.
