Holly Cottage @ Arrowan Common Farm

We had a wonderful stay at Holly Cottage, which was set in an ideal location and perfectly suited our family of 8. We hired the full complex of cottages, and Holly Cottage provided everything we needed for a comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable stay. The surroundings were absolutely beautiful and peaceful, making it the perfect place to unwind and spend quality time together as a family. The cottage itself was extremely well equipped, thoughtfully laid out and had everything we could possibly need during our stay. The décor was modern, tasteful and welcoming, and the whole cottage was immaculately clean on arrival, which immediately made us feel comfortable and at home. There was ample parking available for all guests, and the information booklet provided was very useful, with clear instructions and plenty of helpful local information and recommendations. It was clear that a lot of thought and care had gone into ensuring guests had a smooth and enjoyable experience. The hosts were fantastic throughout — very attentive and excellent with communication. Nothing felt like too much trouble, and the entire check-in and check-out process was easy, straightforward and completely stress-free. Overall, we could not fault our stay at Holly Cottage. It exceeded our expectations in terms of comfort, cleanliness, location and hospitality, and we would absolutely recommend it to others looking for a peaceful family getaway. We are already looking forward to returning again in the very near future.

Really loved the cottage, it was ideal for our family, a great lounge and big garden with BBQ and firepit. Location is fantastic and we loved the peace and quiet and the fact we could venture out to great beaches and harbour villages within 5-10 minutes drive.

It was a wonderful and quiet stay - exactly the refresh that we needed! Even the teenagers had fun!

A fabulous location with beautiful views and calm surroundings. Easy to get to by car. Lovely walk down to the southwest coast path and driveable to all tourist hotspots. A generously sized garden that was lovely to have the bifold doors open onto- both dogs loved it. Very comfy beds. The front door lock was a bit stiff on locking and it would have been a bonus to have matches for the fire pit. Will hope to visit again.
