Clean and reasonably close to town centre and sea front

Kitchen needs to be better-equipped Water was either boiling hot or freezing cold so difficult to shower- building- wide issue? A lot of noise from upstairs flat, into the early hours of the morning

Location is about 15 mins walk from the centre of Eastbourne. The apartment is well equipped, well kept, and beautifully furnished. Access to a washing machine was appreciated! The room was quiet - the street has virtually no traffic at all! Communication with the host was smooth and efficient and check in and out was super easy.

We visited in the heat of summer, so having a fan or two might have helped keep the room a little cooler

Location is great for the town centre, but far enough away to be quiet at night. The property was as described and the host was communicative prior to our booking and when we first arrived, to check we were okay. Everyone we met in Eastbourne was really lovely and helpful and we really liked it as a town. The property is nice, relatively quiet and neighbours re considerate even on a World Cup weekend. Parking is okay, can be a bit hit and miss if busy (I didn’t want to lose my spot so we took taxis locally instead of the car) but it worked for us.

Key safe wasn’t easy to locate as we expected it to be obvious, but it was quite well hidden, not labelled which flat it was for and amongst four or five others. It shouldn’t have caught us out, but did initially. The WiFi went down late on the first night (possibly due to the thunder storm) and although I reported it around lunchtime the following day as we were out and about, I didn’t get a message from the host to say it was working until the next day morning, just as we were checking out. And it hadn’t been restored even then, so we had had to rely on data and hot spotting from our own devices all weekend. I get you can’t control the weather, but not ideal. Little touches like removing the ‘made in China’ label from the fake plant in the bathroom, cleaning the stains on an arm chair and hair from the sofa bed, fixing the wobbly dining chairs and providing more than two teaspoons would have made me score ‘excellent’ rather than ‘good’, but it was acceptable.
