The Lookout Swanage Seafront Studio Apartment

Fantastic location, great views, comfortable bed, all that we could possibly need was catered for.

There wasn’t anything as such, shower cubicle was quite small but shower worked very well.

Clean, very comfortable bed, and right in the heart of swanage. Excellent view of beach.

The photos in the listing are not fully up to date, with the decor updated a bit. It was spotless, a very comfortable bed, had a good vibe, and equipped for a long stay (apart from storage). The listing doesn't do justice to the view. The sea is partially obstructed to the front, but the view along the beach is great. The window seating is a relaxing place to sit, eat, and read a book. The Mowlem Centre across the road (visually) grows on you, and is great inside. There's something on every night, and has a great bar upstairs with a direct view across the sea. Staffed by very friendly people. Would definitely return to Susies.

It's pretty small as noted by other reviewers. We managed fine with a small suitcase each. It's a studio, and didn't feel cramped given the clever layout, for this price point. Not particularly clear there's no TV. But you could stream from the WiFi if needed.

Location was fab lovely views of the seafront. Perfect spot to people watch also. Suitable for an overnight stay.

Although I knew parking was an issue the studio is located on 2 or 3rd floor. Really awkward if you have more than one bag to handle. The studio would be ideal for a solo traveller but we struggled with two of us and a dog. The weather wasn't grest so really frustrated getting back and trying to dry our coats, the dog etc. No TV or radio which is fine in the summer time but in rainy season there are only so many games we can play. Overall space was limited for us
