The cottage was cosy and comfortable with all amenities, a choice of outside seating to the front and rear of the property. There's a really fantastic cafe for breakfasts and lunches minutes away. The location is superb for the sea, town, steam train, open topped bus & fine coastal walks.
The only slight disadvantage, but outweighed by all the positives, is that parking is a little distance away, though we did find a car park space quite conveniently for the duration of our stay.

Location was great. Very central and close to shops, beach and restaurants. The cottage was very cute, homely, and on a quiet street.
The cleaning was not up to scratch (oven and oven tray was so dirty it set the fire alarm off) there was a damp stain on one of the mattresses. Floor and windows were not very clean. There was no parking nearby.

The location was perfect. The decor was nice too. Nice outside space. Loved the fact they provided a bed and bowl for our dog. We did take our own but was a nice touch.
The stairs to the 3rd floor were extremely steep. For my elderly in-laws this was an issue.

The steep second staircase, we booked through booking.com which didn’t mention it, my sister couldn’t use it and I found it scary.
Not clean dust everywhere, diy done and not cleaned up from drilling, windows filthy when opening, spiders all over the of the inside property
Kitchen we had to wash up before using plates etc, under cooker greasy pans left, in fact the kitchen was not clean.
Throws in lounge had been used for dogs
Front door sticks and terrible draft when sitting in lounge
In twin room there is a nail sticking up which nearly ripped my foot had nothing to hammer down with so put card on it to remind me not to tread on it
The shower is awkward to use
I have been in lots of holiday let’s and this wasn’t nice, my sister was a cleaner for change overs and she was appalled that only basic cleaning was done, in fact it was cleaner after we used it especially the kitchen
