It was all good

The House Information pack was clear and easy to read.The decor and art work were good and well chosen to complement the different rooms. The general decor was fresh and clean. The layout had clearly been well-planned, and flowed well. Everything we actually needed to be self-catering was there. We could have done with an extra mug, bowl and wine glass. Linen and towels were fresh, in good condition, and clean. The view outside was brilliant, and the central situation good for wandering around the village. The double front door was good for security and safety if we had had a young child with us. The Wi-fi worked.

We struggled with the central heating on the second evening, despite the instructions. I did miss having a private outside sitting area - but we knew beforehand that there was not one. We could sit on the harbour wall opposite. But no protection there from the south west wind!

Location is ideal for popping to the East Pier restaurant. Also great for access to tidal.pool and for walking the Fife Coastal path.

No welcome items. Felt lack of some basic provisions, like salt,was rather disappointing.

The location was excellent, right on the harbour side. The accommodation was lovely and provided everything we needed for a short break.

No outside space.
