Sea Holly Cottage is a fabulous three bedroom cottage by the sea in the beautiful fishing village of Pittenweem. Perfect for a family, the cottage has been extensively refurbished to provide stylish, comfortable and homely accommodation. Set on a quiet lane with the sea just yards away, the location is ideal for those who enjoy coastal walks, wild swimming, golf and a gentle pace of life. Entering the cottage there is a fully fitted kitchen which leads to a dining area which flows into the lounge. A modern shower room and useful utility room are also on the ground floor and the back door leads to the sheltered courtyard where you can enjoy a morning coffee or pick some herbs to use in your cooking (or cocktails!). The bedrooms are on the first floor; a spacious twin bedroom, a bedroom with bunkbeds and a large king bedroom which has the added bonus of a door to the rear garden. A new bathroom with rainfall shower over the bath completes the accommodation. Sea Holly Cottage offers plenty of spots to sit and enjoy the sun and sea breeze, with a bench as well as some beach accessories to the front of the property, the courtyard area and a large enclosed garden with lawn and plenty of seasonal plants providing colour and character. A much loved family home, Sea Holly Cottage has been carefully upgraded to retain the character of this traditional home whilst ensuring guests have all the conveniences expected of a self catering home. Attention to detail is evident throughout and lots of special touches including a selection of books, games and accessories will ensure a memorable stay for guests of all ages.

Internally satisfactory. Would have liked a coffee machine. Furniture homely. Master bedroom out to the garden was lovely. No on site parking. Outside, condition of the property is poor, except for the garden. Much needed kerb appeal smartening up needed. Windows dirty and window sills filthy. Flowers in plant pots were dead and lots of weeds at front of property. Needs a good paint on doors and windows. Thought the dog fee for 3 nights was excessive for small non shedding dogs. Bathrooms were very good. Did not appreciate having to take glass away, as we left on Thursday and the recycling centre shuts on Thursdays. Would not stay here again.

Nestled along a hillside overlooking the sea and a small fishing harbor, the cottage was a perfect blend of authentic charm and modern comfort. Pittenweem is a jewel of a town with genuine quality shops, cafes and restaurants . We look forward to staying at the cottage again!!
