Satsuki Apartment Hotel - Koguchi Area

周りにコンビニなどがないので、朝食を用意してくれている点がよかった 食器や調理器具が充実していて大変助かりました。

駐車場が遠かった。 テレビが見れるとよかった。

Nice to have an entire apartment including a washing machine, attentive staff, very clean, comfortable bed, views of the mountains in the mist in the morning, short walk to bus stop

I’d skip the steamed meal if vegetarian, just plan ahead to bring in something to eat

It’s very difficult to find a place in the Kumano Kodo at Kaguchi itself and this is on the bus line so it’s no real issue. In addition the owner dropped us off at the trail head the next day which was a big time saver

There is effectively only one grocery shop there open and we needed to make dinner at the apartment and if you’re really tired after a long walk this isn’t ideal but hey the apartment has all you need to do it

Nice apartment with 2 rooms , dining area and shower/bath. Owner provided transportation from trailhead and to bus stop

Dinner and breakfast are not compatible with the high nightly rate for the stay. Dinner was plain rice with choice of packaged curry, meat, or different entree choice. (In a pouch). Breakfast is juice milk 6 slices of white bread, slice of ham and cheese 4 tea bags and 2 coffee packets These meal options are far below what was provided at all our previous stays in the Kumano Kodo area. Suggest the owner to improve on the meal options to be more comparable to the high nightly rate charged for the stay.
