    A bit rundown, but the amenities make up for it. The onsen is great. Clean, spacious and the outdoor pool/bath has a ocean view! In the afternoon the lounge is open..drinks (1500-1700 beer and wine) (1700-.... spirits) and small snacks. The pool closes a couple of times so the lifeguards can have a break :) During our stay a huge group of schoolchildren were staying there and they were running around and you could hear them having fun in the rooms above us...but in the evening they went to bed right on time.

    Good service, provide shuttle from kushimoto to hotel, and also have the hop in and out shuttle with fare to go around the kushimoto, breakfast is super good and really enjoy their onsen too

    Don't stay there at all cost! Bad Location - located top of the hill and not covenienced at all (no 7 Eleven, Family Mart or Lawson). Therefore you are being forced to purchase from the hotel. Same apply to dinner and breakfast. You don't have a choice, must eat there. Room - bad smells like someone smoking inside previously. Complaint, they changed rooms. Another rooms, same smells. Complaint again, they changed again and told me this is the last room they would change it for me. Went in, again, smoking smells. Complaint again and got rude response and behaviour from receptionist. Decided to pack up and not staying there for 1 night. I asked for full refund because I have not stayed for the night and they said NO. This hotel is owned and managed by Mercure / Accor group (big company) and you will get treated like a bad guy. This is the worst hotel I have stayed in Japan. Some budget hotels I stayed were much better than this hotel! I have submitted an official formal complaint to Accor as I am their Gold member. Shame on you, Mercure / Accor !
