The hotel is more like a series of detached houses. The property is huge for one person and contains a Japanese sitting room, large bedroom, separate toilet, sink, and bath area, bathtub and shower. Very spacious and comfortable: mattress and pillows were great. Price quite accessible. The house looked maybe 50 years old.
The property is on the side of the highway, which means you need a taxi or a sparse bus service to get there and get out, especially at night. There are no stores or restaurants around, as the hotel mentions, so pack food or eat out first. A few parts of the room were a little dilapidated, but everything worked fine.
