Very disappointing and poor value for money

Close to the city centre

The property was very tired and falling apart. It felt like it was crying out for maintenance, updating and replacements. The worst part about the property was that it seemed to be situated inside a local doss house, so from arrival to departure there was constant noise, comings and goings of some pretty unsavoury people and a pervading atmosphere of unpleasantness that spoiled the stay for us. Not somewhere I will be staying in again !

Worse than student digs, refused to stay and booked a Travelodge instead.

The location was OK

The flat was cold and smelled of damp. The beds were small metal frames and uncomfortable with duvets that were paper thin and the cabinets wete mis-matched and the tv was plugged in and the cables at full stretch making it akward to get around the bed. The kitchen/lounge had had a partition in it that had been taken down and had not been repaired and there were paint buckets left out with a really poor finish (it looked like bad DIY with unfinished plinths and overlapped sharp/jagged corners). The bathroom had damp on the walls and the toilet leaked onto the floor leaving the prospect that not only was the toilet mat wringing wet but it could have had urine doaked water in it. The shelves in the bathroom were rotten. We refused to stay, went for dinner, booked a Travelodge and messaged the owner that we had left around 8pm and got no reply.

Lovely location, great keys etc. Good flat generally, but with things broken, poor quality etc

We Loved the flat, great high ceilings, good heating.

But! Oven broken and dirty. Sheets n towels all screwed up in the cupboard. Only 1 skinny pillow each. Skinny cheap quilt. Shower curtain broken, kept falling off. Small shower didn't work. Tv in bedroom wouldn't connect properly. Couldn't open back door to garden for kids. Needs painting, ceilings in particular. No table lamps by beds. No quilt for sofa bed.
