Villa Magnolia by Atlantic Holiday

Everything is fresh and clean. We have stayed for 5 nights (5 adults), and it's plenty of space for everyone. You can find anything you need in the kitchen. The beds are comfortable. It is quiet all around at night. The grounds are well kept, a lot of green plants. We have used the jacuzzi once; it was clean. There's also a separate building near the main house where you can have barbeques. The place has a calming, pleasant vibe. I liked our stay there.

The house is located on a hill. It was not a problem for us at all; just keep it in mind.

Fabulous location for a few days in Machico, 4m walk from beach & restaurants (Massa Mia has an amazing espeteda), 7m to supermarket. Stylishly kitted out villa with all mod cons - aside from aircon! - which we really missed. One fan was provided, we requested 2 more and the team sent someone the next day but sadly only one given (they said the shops had sold out which I could well believe). I also found the mattress too hard to sleep on so spent the remaining 2 trying to sleep on the very narrow sofa, despite there being 2 extra beds they were all rock hard (only one softer mattress our of 4 which my friend took). If there had been aircon and a second softer mattress the villa would have been a 10.

3 sleepless nights due to sweltering heat and rock hard mattress. There was also very loud music from a neighbouring property (or disco/club?) all 3 nights berween 1-4am. Such a shame as rest of the facilities - tv streaming, lovely sun terrace, garden seating, outdoor kitchen and hot tub were excellent.
