Al llegar teníamos productos típicos de Madeira, cortesía del anfitrión. Fue una grata sorpresa inesperada. El apartamento muy limpio, muy amplio, bien decorado, en una ubicación perfecta, con garaje, eso sí, abstenerse conductores poco habilidosos, sólo coches tipo Ford fiesta ó similares.

Sólo tiene un pequeño inconveniente, las campanas de la Iglesia suenan de siete de la mañana a nueve y media de la noche. Para mí no lo fue, era una fantastica alarma, jajaja, pero entiendo que a otros huéspedes puede molestarles mucho

Ruim net appartement. Goede ligging in het centrum . Dicht bij de winkels, restaurants en het strand.

Het doorgegeven adres vonden we niet met de GPS. De poort van de auto staan plaats kregen we niet open met de sleutel . Sleutel paste niet. Uiteindelijk was de poort simpel te openen met een klein klepje achter aan. Deze 2 zaken moeten beter gecommuniceerd worden en vermeld staan.

It feels authentic, like you’re leaving at a local friend’s house. It’s big, cozy, the location is great. The view is crazy, I would love to spend more time at the terrace. The church nearby definitely added unique aura and helped me to wake up earlier and experience the island :)

There’re some little things broken here and there, nothing critical. My bed was way too squeaky. The church nearby wasn’t annoying to me, but it’s still pretty “loud” :) And the parking spot was diabolical honestly, if you’re a relatively new driver - you’ll suffer every time you park there. But you’ll definitely end up with a useful experience

The apartment is in the center of lovely town of Machico, next door to church in the lovely center. Apartment is spacious, with 3 nicely decorated bedroom and living room with a wonderful view. Terrace with a view of church is spectacular, but if you are not an early bird as we are, have in mind that the church bell rings every morning at 7 under your window. So far the best experience in Madeira. Easy walk to beach and playground. Grocery supermarket is 5 minute walk.

The facility should have some sign on the green gate and information ahead, that you can park directly your car at the yard. I had some difficulties to find it. I think, for this price, the apartment should have an dishwasher. 2 terrace are spacious, the main terrace is well equipped, the fence is quite open, so if you travel with children like we did, you need to be present every second on terrace with them. The main door should have some maintenance - it scrapes against the floor Also, the agency is taking care of the property, so no contact with the owner.
