We loved the contemporary, fresh, clean style of each apartment, and also the idiosyncratic details (such as china tea service and heart shaped coffee cups) which brought a personal touch. The corner bath by the windows in the main bedroom looking out at the coast and mountains was very special. The views from the terrace were spectacular and better than we had anticipated being set back a couple of streets from the beach itself. We loved that it was a really easy ten minute walk down to the beach and local beach bar, by a walk through trees on a natural reserve. Also the correspondence before and support from the owners during our stay was excellent. They really were interested in how our stay was going.
Of course being situated on a main road meant there was some traffic noise at times, but it also meant it was really easy to get in and out of Hermanus, and was only a few minutes walk to the main beach.

The view was exceptional and beds comfortable.
The basics are not provided. No umbrella for outside area. Braai but no casserole. Washing machine but no drying rack, only hooks in room. No plastic containers or cups.

Modern, tidy and clean. Fulfills the basic needs.
The studio appears more spacious on the photos, although measuring up to the 32 square meter as provided.
This accommodation is more suitable for a short stay. We needed accommodation for 10 days during peak season
and there were little else available on short notice. A larger space would have been more suitable.
The terrace is not private, people passing by can look down into the sunken terrace area.
The room is not private when the reflective sliding door to the terrace is not closed during day time, and in the evening the blind needs to be drawn to ensure privacy.

Das Appartement war sehr sauber, neu und schön eingerichtet. Das einchecken lief problemlos. Die Unterkunft liegt fussläufig zum sehr schönen Grotto Beach.
Etwas weit entfernt von der Stadt.
Liegt an einer großen Straße.
