it is at the top floor of a building without a lift

It is away from most all tourist attractions(which we LOVE). Is a legit apartment on the 4th (or 5th) floor, you get access to everything within the apartment- AC, heat, water, storage, Nespresso machine, ironing boards, blackout curtains, etc. Restaurants 2-3 mins away, grocery about 5 min walk, bakeries, cafes 2-5 min walk. The statue of david we went to is a 10 mins walk away, duomo is about 12 mins and you are only 8-10 mins out from being downtown Florence. The access key to get in is a link that they send you and it is VERY useful. No need to buzz anyone, unlock any extra doors upon street entry. Our first trip to Italy was a big success because of it!

The negatives are you are right outside one of the main roads that locals travel and there was construction going on when we were there. Luckily, the bedroom where you sleep was SUPER silent but I know those are uncontrollables. If you are from other countries bring plenty of international port plugs. Also Everytime to get the apartment you have to climb 6 flights of stairs. We didn’t mind too much but I will say after a few days walking 20k steps it definitely adds up just something to be cautious of (the view more than pays off for it). We had one which was good but 2-4 should be fine for every room. Another considerable is that this is a newer listing (at least on this site) and there is nothing in the fridge. Olive oil, cooking spices, sauces etc. all must be bought on your own. Hopefully the more people stay the more they are able to leave things. Lastly, laundry was a big factor for us. We did have to buy extra laundry tabs at the store but no big deal as it was just 5 mins away. Only had two from the owner but still was great. Also a considerable is that all heat (water and in the apartment) is gas run. Often the smell of gas would come out of the kitchen (where it is stored at). Nothing too concerning just something to be aware of!

Not a complaint but a suggestion. We found there to be lots of mosquito's throughout the house maybe screens on the windows could help this problem?
