Great location walking distance into ballater. Great for dog with garden spacious enough for us.

The location was fantastic, a little back from the centre so really quiet, but you could walk to all amenities in about 7 minutes. The cottage had plenty of room to relax whilst remaining super cosy, a bright and spacious living room, and the outdoor space was well maintained and a really nice element to have during the summer when we visited. Carole the host was friendly on messaging and very responsive. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything you needed as basics to self cater well. We visited Ballater for the highland games and the cottage was in a fantastic location for it. It was a quick walk to be in lovely forest for a walk or run and we were also very close to drive to Braemar and Balmoral

The bathroom en suite was a little outdated, but there was a note to say that it is being upgraded soon, and that addition would even further elevate a really great place to stay! Even without an upgraded ensuite, I'd still recommend this property to stay

Cute cottage in an excellent location. Wonderful living room with views of lovely garden. Excellent parking. Good host communication prior to visit.

My only minor complaint would be cleanliness as some parts of the cottage were very dusty and it would have been great if the heated towel rail worked. I would still go back and stay again and have already recommended to others.
