Authentique Au cœur de Rouen

Ottima posizione, in pieno centro, in via pedonale ricca di locali di ristorazione. L'accesso alla palazzina si presentava decoroso dalla strada, all'interno purtroppo era attivo un cantiere, in ogni caso silenzioso. Appartamentino luminoso e confortevole per dimensioni con arredamento moderno. Cucina ben attrezzata, con ampia possibilità di prepararsi la colazione ed eventualmente cucinare. Ottima pulizia. Ottima soluzione per un soggiorno anche prolungato. Parcheggio coperto a pagamento nelle immediate vicinanze. Risulta difficoltoso lo scarico bagagli. Consigliatissimo per chi vuole vivere a pieno la vivacità del posto.

Pur essendo l'appartamento piacevole e confortevole, l'accesso e l'ingresso lasciano a desiderare scoraggiando l'utente. All'interno, lo spazio per salire e scendere dal letto era molto ridotto con difficoltà di movimento, aspetto purtroppo non migliorabile.

The apartment was clean, cozy, and inviting, exactly as described. The location was wonderful, just slightly off the very center of Old City. There are several restaurants right out the front door, and I enjoyed watching the people and listening to the sounds of city life in the evenings. (The bedroom door and heavy curtains completely blocked out all sounds and the fan in the bedroom added the white noise that made sleep cozy and deep.) I recommend Mimi Mosa's for your morning coffee and Le Bistrot d'Arthur for dinner. There is a nice little grocery at the end of the street if you plan to eat "at home." The shower had plenty of hot water, which is always a bonus.

My only suggestion for improvement would be to stock some basic spices and oil in the kitchen for those that wish to cook. I left a small bag of sugar for tea and coffee. For those staying in the near future, be aware that there is construction happening directly outside the bedroom window. That is not under the control of the owner, but I did not enjoy being woken up after 15 hours of traveling to the sound of hammering next to my head. Again, that is no fault of the owner, and hopefully, the construction will conclude soon.

Logement très bien situé, bien équipé et propre.

Le lit est très inconfortable : matelas très mou, dans une chambre minuscule, qui donne sur une cour intérieure en travaux... et il est posé sur un sol en pente (on dort la tête légèrement en bas...). Pour dormir j'ai fini par mettre par terre dans le salon un matelas que j'ai trouvé dans une armoire. On ne dort pas très longtemps, d'ailleurs, parce qu'il y a des travaux dans l'immeuble et que nous avons été réveillés à 8H30... L'escalier était plein de gravats quand nous sommes sortis.
