The owner was very nice and friendly, which made the stay feel welcoming. The property was clean and well maintained, and I especially appreciated having a broom and vacuum available so I could keep things tidy during my stay. The kitchen was spotless, with a clean fridge, microwave, kettle, and rice cooker (though I mainly bought pre-cooked rice). The gas stove was also convenient. I also liked that city-standard garbage bags and even an umbrella were thoughtfully provided. Laundry was easy with a clean washing machine, detergent and softener provided, plus a clothes rack/airer. Plenty of towels and toilet paper were available as well. The AC worked well when needed, but I mostly used the 송풍 (fan-only) mode for comfort. The clothes cupboard came with hangers, which was useful. The 32-inch TV had great picture quality, and the internet was fast (150/10 Mbps), which will matter to those who need it. I was initially concerned about the location, but it turned out to be ideal: far enough to be quiet yet within a 5-minute walk of hundreds of excellent restaurants. It’s also close to bus stops and the subway, giving easy access to places like Lotte World Mall and COEX Mall. Baseball fans will love being so close to one of the main stadiums, and even if you’re not a fan, the lively atmosphere is worth experiencing.

There is a big step down to get into the property and another step up to the bathroom, which was a bit challenging for my hips and knees. Also, there’s no exhaust fan above the stove, so cooking anything oily isn’t really practical. That said, being in Seoul with endless food options nearby makes this less of an issue.
