About this house rental
Old world charm surrounds you in this unique renovated one room schoolhouse. Two upstairs bedrooms (king and queen bed with white linens) added to this 1840 gem with heat pump mini splits and custom woodwork and furniture throughout. Sleep in the main room on a handmade Murphy bed to experience the first floor sleeping. Full kitchen with new appliances, many cutting boards and a Blackstone griddle on the chill back porch. Additionally I have a canoe stored at lake Jean that you are welcome to use while visiting. Fire pit and an EV car charger are also here for you.
Amenities at 2 miles to Ricketts Glen. Updated and cozy schoolhouse with porch and fire pit.

Loved this unusual lodging. A renovated tiny schoolhouse-so cool. Even the chalk board was still there. What an extraordinary feature wall. (Yes chalk is included.) It was a perfect location for our trip. We enjoyed sitting on back porch in evening listening to and watching birds, watching the chickens forage, and sipping coffee. All of the custom wood work and furniture made by the host is beautiful. The host was very responsive to our asks and welcoming.
