About this cabin rental
We have a beautiful cabin On 10 acres that border Ricketts Glen State Park. The cabin is only 1/4 mile from the trail head at the foot of the mountain. This state park offers beautiful views year round. Whether you would like to hike the 22 waterfall trails, rent a kayak on Lake Jean or curl up with a good book on the sandy beach of the lake, we have the peace and quiet you have been dreaming about! There is also excellent mountain biking, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, trail running, and hunting. You will enjoy a relaxing outdoor experience at our cabin. We have a comfortable interior with hardwood floors and all the comforts of home including air conditioning. The outside has many sitting areas including a fire ring and covered back porch.
Please note that we have another mountain home which borders the park. This home would be better for a larger group 4-8 or a family that likes more space. It has 2 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms and a large kitchen, family room and game room.

This was a beautiful property and conveniently located to the falls at Ricketts Glenn. My husband and I had a touch of caregiver’s burnout and this was the perfect place to recharge for the weekend. The cabin is great and the porch was a quiet place with a beautiful view to chill out day or night. We did wish the fireplace was available for use because it rained the first night. On the second night the weather was perfect and we enjoyed the fire-pit out back. The location managed to be both private and quiet yet conveniently located to the necessities. A rejuvenating place to get away!

Wonderful cabin to stay in while exploring Ricketts Glen. Well equipped, clean and a nice setting. Host very helpful and responsive. Did not realize from the description on VRBO that we needed to bring our own sheets, blankets and towels— it was not mentioned but I probably should have realized that from the pictures. Luckily I was messaging the host about check in details and he mentioned it (2days before arrival). So heads up on that! Lovely cabin…highly recommend!

Cute cabin with a great location. Less than a mile from the Fall Trail and close to the Rickets Glenn Hotel. My wife loved it so much she wanted to look at real estate. We would definitely go back to this cabin.
