Charming Kensington Retreat

Great Location, just 2 minutes walk from Earls Court (District and Picadilly Line). Very bright apartment with a nice little terrace. The host was very responsive and helpful with our requests. I would gladly stay here again.

It is probably not ideal for those with bulky luggage as it’s on the third floor with no elevator.

Casa maravilhosa na zona 1 de Londres, com estação de metro e paragens de bus praticamente à porta do prédio! Na rua tem supermercado, restaurantes, pubs, cafés, lojas de conveniência e souvenirs, tudo o que é necessário. Em relação à casa, éramos 4 pessoas mas dá para 5 à vontade. Nos quartos as 2 camas de casal são muito confortáveis e os roupeiros muito espaçosos; wc com toalhas, secador de cabelo, gel duche, shampoo e chuveiro fácil de controlar a temperatura da água; sala com sofá confortável e TV; kitchenette com tudo, fogão, forno, microondas, máquina de café, chaleira, frigorífico grande, talheres, copos e pratos; varanda perfeita para desfrutar ao fim da tarde. O proprietário é muito rápido a responder e super atencioso, sempre preocupado em saber se estava tudo ao nosso gosto e não nos faltava nada. Fomos em família e adorámos, quando voltarmos a Londres ficaremos aqui de novo!!!

The stay was absolutely wonderful — comfortable, relaxing, and truly memorable. The host was amazing: incredibly welcoming, kind, and always quick to respond whenever I needed help. The house was spotless and well-maintained, making it feel like a home away from home. The location was perfect — just a short walk from the station and surrounded by plenty of shops and conveniences. This has genuinely been my favourite stay ever on Booking.com, and I would happily return again!

The property location is ideal, the local area is full of restaurants, bars and shops and it is two minutes from Earls Court tube Station. This is the absolute best thing about the apartment. I don’t believe comments from previous reviewers are fair about the area, this is a great part of London to be based.

A previous review from a month ago identified several issues with the property, these same maintenance issues remained present when we stayed and clearly haven’t been addressed. The apartment is a bit tired visually but is very clean. The WiFi during our stay was almost unusable with speeds down as low as 1 mbps,
