Direct Elevator to Hongdae Station, NEW Residence by 13yr Superhost

Fantastic location that is extremely convenient! Lots of shopping and dining within walking distance. The building itself has security staff at the lobby and a convenience store within the building, not to mention Olive Young and many other big name shops. It is just above the Hongik station, super convenientif you take the subway. Is also a pick up point for joining local tours so you don'thave to travel to another pick up point. There are also many luggage storage facility in the building's basement where you can leave your luggage there after checkout and shop around until time to leave for the airport. Perfect score for location! Also, the price is something that works very well for us a family of 4 adults! I also want to compliment the host, she is very responsive and she even shared a map of recommended eating places around the accommodation!

The unit itself is well equipped and spacious. However, if you are the fussy type, do not expect everything to be hotel standard as the unit itself is not new. Do not expect fancy bathroom and bidet. 😊 My main feedback is the location of the standing air conditioner which is not able to provide a comfortable air circulation and temperature because of the way and location it is positioned. I had to use my mobile fan throughout the night to keep cool and yet all of us wake up sweaty every morning. Luckily it is the beginning of summer and the weather and temperature is still comfortable. I would suggest that the owner consider installing ceiling air con or relocating the standing air con so that guests can sleep more comfortably. Other than this, we are happy.

Location, comfortable beds, separated shower and toilet. Spacious.

Shower room tile and grouting felt somewhat out dated with small patches of molds. The city noise through the window was surprisingly noticeable.

It was an amazing stay! The location is super strategic, right in the heart of Hongdae. There are two Olive Young stores very close to the accommodation (one is even in the same building), along with other popular brands like Blue Elephant and OLENS nearby. The apartment itself was great, very comfortable, super clean, and spacious enough for three people. It also came with useful amenities like an induction stove, washing machine, and hair tools, which made it especially convenient for a stay longer than 3 - 4 days. Park (the owner) was also wonderful, very accommodating and kind. He even helped store our luggage while we waited for the room to be ready for check-in, which we really appreciated. I would definitely stay here again if I come back to Korea!

The only small thing I would suggest is maybe providing a steam iron, which would be really helpful for longer stays.
