The location was super central, close to subway stop and near a lot of attractions. It was clean and host was attentive and kind.

Everything was great! The apartment is very comfortable and convenient for a family stay. We really enjoyed our time here.

The elevator took a bit long because the second one was broken during our stay. Also, the building is very popular with foreigners, so it gets quite busy.

Location was good. Limousine bus from Incheon airport stops across the street. Train to Gimpo airport only takes 15 minutes. Entrance to line 2 subway is next door. Shops, restaurants and cafes are just minutes away on foot. We didn't see any staff. Communication was via whatsapp.

Loved the location of this property—right above Hongik University Station, which made getting around incredibly easy. It was also very reasonably priced, so great value for money. The owner provided very clear instructions on how to get there, and we had no trouble finding the place at all. Really appreciated that he kindly adjusted my booking dates when I made a mistake—it made the whole experience even smoother.

To start with, the apartment was quite different from what we had assumed based on the photos. There were no stairs or loft areas for kids—just a small room with two queen beds. The property showed clear signs of wear and tear: the flooring near the second bed was chipped, the bathroom cupboard wasn’t securely fixed, and there was mold on the shower curtain rails. Overall, it felt like an old apartment in need of refurbishment. The kitchenette was not really usable, as there weren’t enough utensils to prepare even something simple like toast. We were also asked to take out the trash before leaving, which is something we usually expect in Airbnbs, not places advertised more like hotels. During our stay, the toilet got clogged just from regular use with toilet paper—we had to unclog it ourselves using a plunger provided, which suggests it may be a recurring issue. The TV only had Korean channels and we couldn’t access anything else, which was disappointing, especially for the kids. Additionally, the strict warning about noise after 10pm (including mention of neighbours calling the police) made us quite anxious. With two children, including a chatty 8-year-old, we felt like we had to constantly walk on eggshells after returning from long days out. Overall, this isn’t a place I would recommend for families with young children. It wasn’t somewhere we looked forward to returning to after a busy day of sightseeing.
