#1 Mapo Hongdae Detached Home

• The object is fairly big, the living room area with the kitchen is really comfortable. The whole apartment is modern and nice • The beds are huge and also comfortable. The apartment is mostly under ground so it's dark and quiet - it will be the best sleep of your life • Prime location, perfect if you like to come back and rest and then go out again in the evening • A lot of towels, toilet paper, a washing machine available • The host was responsive and nice

• Not a negative, just a good to know: There is no separate shower area, the whole bathroom is the shower. It's easy to get used to • Not a negative, just a good to know: There is little storage area (some hangers for clothes), which is common. We recommend going in a party of 4 instead of 6, so you can use one bed for storage • The bathroom (especially nooks on the toilet) wasn't perfectly clean and the shower head filter begs for change • The apartment was really cold. Next to the thermostat, there was a card with a bold text 'Water boiler, do not touch'. It was too cold to function, the host wasn't replying, so we contacted Booking - after a while it turned out that it was in fact house heating and could be touched. The whole situation was resolved quickly (1-2 hours) but it would be nice if it was stated up front how to regulate the temperature.
