Very peaceful location. Nowhere near anything other than a Naval base, very nice well kept swimming pool. Inexpensive, very nice room, v clean. Fantastic fauna & flora, saw silver & red mongoose, snakes, monkeys and awesome birds lying in a very comfortable hammock! If you want tranquility, it’s your place!

Quite isolated so eating anywhere else involves tuk tuk to town. no A/C ( fan) or hot water but that wasn’t a problem for me. It was cool at night. Unfortunately I thought the food was very average and overpriced. ( v seasoned SL traveler!) Very small portions of veg curry ( a tablespoon only of each) with a mountain of white rice. Breakfast was ok but again, nothing special. I did feel a little like a tourist trap but for the price, no complaints!

There’s a backyard garden that your room faces where so many birds visit and a small pool by the house where you can soak in to beat the heat. It is surrounded by nature and very close(5-10 minutes walk) to Boosa beach where you experience awesome waves and sunset.
