Saman Beach Guest House is run by Saman, Nilani and their family on the peaceful coast of Pitiwella. Guests are welcomed with personal attention, local knowledge and great hospitality.
We woke up to the rhythm of the Indian Ocean and stepped onto a quiet, golden shore untouched by heavy tourism. The property is situated on the main coastal road, 7 kms from Galle city.
This intimate beachfront guest house offers the ultimate blend of local warmth, romantic privacy and effortless beach living.
It offers direct, uncrowded beach access. Step right off the deck directly onto the soft sands of Pitiwella Beach—a serene, 2.3-kilometer stretch.
Breezy Ocean view Rooms: Unwind in the bright, beautifully clean spaces. Kumuduni, always cheerful, makes sure that the place is always clean, she does her job very well. The doors to panoramic sea views, private verandah, and the soothing sound of crashing waves right outside your window.
Heartfelt, Local Hospitality: Start each day together on the
oceanfront terrace with a fresh, homemade, wholesome breakfast—featuring local fruits, traditional curries, and freshly brewed tea. Saman and his wife Nilani take exceptional care of their guests. They give different breakfast everyday so the guests can enjoy varied food. The food is delicious beyond words.
Saman beach guest house offers unlimited, premium-grade internet access across the entire guest house. We enjoyed the blazing-fast, complimentary fiber WiFi with strong, uninterrupted coverage in every room and garden area.
Overall extremely satisfied and happy with Saman Beach Guest House.

We had a wonderful five days. Saman and his family are truly kind, helpful, and wonderful people; we are so happy to have met them. The rooms and breakfast were excellent, too, and the view was amazing.

The overall stay was amazing, the host of the property was very welcoming, the beach access was the highlight of the stay and also the breakfast served was amazing.
