Cwmwbwb Lodge

The lodge is located in a beautiful setting and it was lovely to wake up to the view of the trees and woodland around. Perfect location for us as we were there for the Cardiff Half Marathon and were able to easily jump on a train into Cardiff. It feels very spacious with both bedrooms being a good size and the bathroom also being quite large. Great amenities in terms of appliances. I imagine staying here in the summer and being able to use the outdoor space would be lovely. Also was great that checkout wasn’t until 12pm so we didn’t feel rushed getting packed and out at the crack of dawn like you do with some places.

The gravel pathway and sharp turn off the main road (although we were warned about this in our welcome email). Also some guidance on how to use the heating system, it was quite cold in the evenings.

Amazing house, lovely decor, great location, great facilities, lovely outdoor space, loved the booklet with the history of the place.

Location for South Wales, we drove to Barry Island (half hour). Brilliant comfort and layout in the house. Great spot and facility for a barbeque.

A perfect retreat for a long weekend getaway with friends convieniently located for visiting both Caerphilly and Cardiff. Offers the perfect blend of a tranquil woodland setting mixed with all the conveniences of a recently rennovated property. There wasnt a thing we didnt like and I will not hesitate in booking again.
