Salty Dog Restaurant, Pub & Guesthouse

Staff and manager were super friendly. Location is great - we were able to explore the cliff walk and beach while we were there. Food is amazing - feeding a family of 5 with completely different tastes can be a challenge but everyone loved their meal. Special shout out to Breda the baker - we are still dreaming of your desserts.

The property was much more than I expected. On planning our stay we were looking for a harbour location with a restaurant and accommodation close by. The Salty Dog provided all these things in one super location. From the moment we walked in the friendliness and attention to customers was apparent. Staff were friendly and helpful.The accommodation was spotless.The food was outstanding. We stayed 2 nights I wish it was longer I wanted to try everything on their menu. I can never pass the offer of mussels on a menu and the organic mussels here were exceptional. Everywhere was spotless. Staff were always attentive and kept themselves busy clearing the tables or putting glasses away as soon as people finished. The best compliment I can give is the staff said it was a great place to work. A very happy stop off anytime of year. Thank you Martin.
