House does what it says on the tin!

Great location, off street parking if needed and a bus stop to the centre of Oxford just outside! Living room was cosy, double beds comfortable. Communication from host was brilliant no need to ask lots of follow up questions. Short drive to Cowley Road restaurants, bars and venues. Shopping centre close by for Lidl or Sainsbury's, lots of fast food options near by too.

Back garden was a bit of a mess and wasn't secure - could be really nice with a bit of love and a couple of patio chairs. No frying pan or black bin bags which was annoying but easily overcome.

Good location, clean and tidy house

It was very clean and tidy when we arrived and having off street parking was a bonus. I was in Oxford as my partner was working there for 4 days and I was able to work from my company's Oxford office which was a 5 min walk. Lounge area very comfortable and plenty of cupboard space in the kitchen if you are self catering for all meals. Large supermarket a 10 to 15 min walk. If you want to go into the centre of Oxford, the bus stop is right outside the property.

No plug in kitchen sink so to avoid wasting water, I purchased a cheap washing up bowl from the supermarket. One of the bedside lamps was not within distance of an electrical socket so was wasted. Property looks a bit tired in places but also looks like attention being paid to make it smarter. I knew it was on a busy road however most of the windows were not fitting properly so traffic noise was louder than I expected it to be.
