Lovely owner, quick responses to a last minute booking. Went from a possibly ruined weekend trip to accessing a lovely and affordable oasis in one of my favorite neighborhoods!
I would say the price range is comparable to hostels, so in that respect it was wonderful to have a private room and working fridge. Bathroom was great. General cleanliness of linens and common spaces seemed rushed over/ hastily done. I wasn't fussy but another guest might be

Great location, excellent communication with host, full and well appointed kitchen, comfortable bed in large bedroom.
Some noise from upstairs (though quiet after 10pm), shared bathroom with tub but no stand-up shower
