They let us check in early, 2 hrs early.
Just a suggestion, have more towels if guests are staying for more days. We were there for 4 days and need to wash towels everyday. Maybe our fault too, we could have ask for more, I just didn’t bother messaging them since there’s a washer. And the things in the pantry, sauces, condiments, for sure it’s the guest that left it there. A lot of them are expired.

Easy bus ride to centre Vancouver. Local shops & restaurants ok. Quiet neighbourhood.
The house is beautifully decorated and very clean and tidy.
On the negative side the sheets were too small for the beds and the mattress in the ground floor bedroom was very soft, which is not to our liking. A blanket was provided in each wardrobe but there was no duvet. Fortunately for us the weather was warm and the heating was very effective. However for winter bookings a duvet would be essential.
There were no manuals for things like the dishwasher, the oven or the microwave and I would recommend that these are provided for future bookings as we struggled to work out how to work the oven in particular.
I found the sofa quite uncomfortable and the cushions really thin so all in all not to my liking or comfort.
The owner was very quick to respond to emails and messages. His mother lived in the house next door to the accommodation and so she greeted us when we arrived, but we would’ve appreciated personal contact with the owner. We appreciated the owner booking a taxi for us to the airport as we had no use of our phones during our stay.
We enjoyed our stay in the house, but would not describe it as luxury accommodation.
