Jakkalsroep Cottage

Marisa went above and beyond to accommodate us and we are super grateful for her hospitality. Our daughter had a lot of fun playing with her kids. We enjoyed the fire in the cottage, and also being able to braai, as we travelled during winter it was a great benefit. The bed was the most comfortable of our whole South African trip. We loved the curious peacocks in the morning. Thanks again!

Not to do with the rental, but unfortunately I thought that Uber would be operating in Touwsriver and this was not the case. Better pre-planning for transport and conveniences would have made the stay perfect :)

Pomocny gospodarz, rozpalił kominek, ale niestety on nie zagrzał łazienki i sypialni, dużo miejsca, wszystko dostępne, parking, zagrodzone, bardzo się starali.

This was truly the best farm stay we’ve ever experienced. The host was exceptionally friendly and welcoming, even taking the time to give us a guided tour of the property and the farm itself. The location is ideal, situated just a short drive from Aquila Private Game Reserve, making it easy to combine relaxation with adventure. The accommodation is spacious, thoughtfully maintained, and very comfortable — a perfect retreat for anyone looking to enjoy both tranquility and convenience
