Our host was very friendly and helpful. The property is all fresh and inviting with traditional sliding doors and tatami flooring. We were offered the choice of futons on the floor or beds. Because of our age we chose the beds which were comfortable and warm.
Plenty of amenities in kitchen and access to clothes washer and dryer was convenient.
I usually only have a shower at night so didn't run the bath. But the shower water would not get any warmer than 39° which is not hot enough for me. Most taps have a button to make the temperature go over 40 to 45 but not here. So I ran the bath for my wife as that water was 43°.
