Quiet location, and although building work was occuring next door, it did not greatly inconvenience us. The property was very clean, and the hosts were very helpful with any of our occasional queries. We had no real complaints, and would use again.

Although not directly the fault of the property, the builders were observed urinating on the open ground opposite the property. It may also be sensible to provide a towel to dry any kitchenware which did not go in the dishwasher. It is an easy 10-15 min walk to the underground system, but if you are reasonably fit this should not be an issue, and we found it not to be a problem.

This was a perfectly fine Japanese house. It was comfortable, clean and quiet, and slept our party of 5 with no problems. The beds were comfortable, and the tub was nice and spacious, and the bathroom had a good heater. It had 2 toilets (bottom and top floors) but only one bathroom sink and one shower (bottom floor).

The location was a bit far from the nearest train station (15 min walk). We used the fold out bed-chair in one of the bedrooms, which was confusing to figure out and didn't have clean sheets for it. We were unfamiliar with Japanese hot water heaters when we arrived, and the check-in guide didn't explain it. In case that's you - there's no hot water until you turn on the mysterious panel in the bathroom. It was very cold inside when we arrived, but that's typical for empty Japanese houses since the heating was all turned off to save power.

The room is clean and sanitary, the landlord is warm, the living environment is quiet and comfortable
