The workshop

The interior is comfortable and very well fitted out.. The bedrooms are comfortable and the kitchen was well set up. A good location for access into the town centre.

Difficult to get full ventilation into the bedrooms but not a big problem.

Quirky building in a location midway between the station and the historic centre, perfect for exploring. The lounge area was comfortable, the shower room was spacious and the beds comfy. We didn't try the coffee machine as we are tea drinkers in the morning. Great that it came with essentials like washing up liquid and bleach for the loo!

There was a lot of traffic noise all through the night, particularly in the smaller bedroom; not sure the window was fully shut and it was too awkward to fiddle with. A soap dish or similar in the shower would be appreciated by us oldies. For a stay of more than a night, or if you wanted to prepare food from scratch rather than eat out, I thought the kitchen was lacking in basic equipment e.g only one saucepan, no bread or vegetable knife or chopping board I could find and it was unclear if the dishwasher and washing machine were actually working-the house book said they were needing to be replaced.

Historic building - nice features - everything you would need - great coffee machine

It was good overall and we had a comfortable stay - just feels a little like a ‘mans’ accommodation - needs some of the trinkets removing, the black attracts dust and some replacement linens just elevate it

The property was easy to find, very spacious and very well equipped. The location was good with just a short walk to the town centre but in a quiet cul de sac. We especially appreciated the host allowing us to check in a little early

Only thing was rather thin towels.
