The Merchants Barn - A New Unique Town Centre Home

Fabulous location. Really comfortable beds. 3 bathrooms and cloakroom really helpful as everyone had their own facilities. Lovely kitchen to cook and eat in. TV in every bedroom a nice touch. Very clean and lots of hot water.

Entrance way narrow, but manage ok with 2 normal sized cars. Could do with blackout blinds - very light early in the morning.

Modern, very modern bathrooms. Lovely kitchen and good size hob. Comfy beds and pillows. It is a beautiful property right in the centre which is lovely, with a couple of simple upgrades it would be perfect. All in all very good.

Parking for 2 cars is very tight, 1 was a mini. Lack of drawers or shelves to put things away in the bedroom. Shower screen downstairs is too small and water splashes on the floor making it slippery Lack of basic amenities that would make a real difference; a bottle of cleaning spray (that isn't empty), tea towel, food bags or tin foil, a pen, tea/coffee. Spares towels, hand towels & blankets for the beds. Simple things that other properties provide. The cleaning needed to be more thorough, the cutlery wasn't clean and all needed washing. Dining table hadn't been cleaned properly and had ketchup on it.

Very well equipped and presented

The place is stunning with a brilliant layout. The photos do not do this place justice.

There was nothing at all, we would love to come back and stay again. Thank you so much :)
