Sky Domo Titicaca Lodge

I loved the house, it was beautiful, had very comfortable huge bed with loads of warm blankets, I felt like sleeping in a clouds even though temperature during the night on a lake and so in a house falls down but I was warm and there was a heater (more like one meant for outside but it did the job and I turned it off for the night). There even was warm shower. The house is very clean and you feel like in a different world there, beautiful views all around the house. Very calm with beautiful sunsets and sunrise. Breakfast was tasty. I was picked up from the small port and brought back there by the family and they also organised my taxi to the airport. Advice on food - have some snacks, fruit with you or organise meals in advance if you need. Thank you for everything ❤️

Communication wasn't always accurate(in person)/ responsive (via phone) but we got there in the end.

Staying at Sky Dome Titicaca Lodge was a truly beautiful and unique experience. Being located right on Lake Titicaca, we enjoyed stunning views both from the front and the back of the accommodation. The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. They showed us around and gave us the opportunity to learn more about the Uros people and their way of life, which made our stay even more special. The breakfast was also very good, and we even had the opportunity to rent a kayak and explore the lake ourselves.

The only minor downside was that we stayed in July, when temperatures can get very cold. During the early mornings, the pipes could freeze, meaning that we were temporarily unable to use the shower, flush the toilet, or access water in the bathroom. However, considering the unique location and the cold weather conditions, this was only a small inconvenience.

Todo me gustó mucho!! Si una palabra lo describiera sería Mágico!! Lucy estuvo muy atenta de nuestra llegada, nos recogió en el puerto, es una excelente navegante y nos permitió observar el firmamento más bello que nunca he visto, hasta con estrellas fugaces!! El sky domo es precioso, con vista al cielo, en madera, cómodo, privado, calientito y maravilloso para disfrutar la noche en una isla flotante en el Lago Titicaca, una experiencia única. Fueron muy amables en todos los sentidos, les habíamos pedido comida y nos tuvieron una deliciosa comida casera que nos sentó muy bien a todos, nos facilitaron al día siguiente visitar otras islas y nos acompañaron con mucho cariño. Un agradecimiento muy especial para esta familia tan maravillosa!
