The provided amenities worked well and the 1st floor space was thoughtful and comfortable to lounge in. It had privacy in terms of being in a quiet neighborhood and had a dedicated parking space. The hosts went out of their way to greet us in despite the late check in. The kitchen space and provided kitchenware was perfect for our purpose of using the home as a base for traveling to our hiking destinations which were less than 20 minutes away. Sligo was also very accessible if we wanted to have more of a city experience. They had also left farm eggs for us to enjoy during our stay and thought that was a very sweet gesture.

The lack of privacy was first to note. The bathroom window was facing towards incoming cars and was a bit embarrassing to use without having any privacy curtains. This was also the same for the front slider door that didn't necessarily covered the entire glass screen. The counters were a bit messy and had signs of usage. The steep staircase and really short hallways on the second floor was an adjustment that wasn't very convenient when planning for a longer stay.

It was a beautiful home in a beautiful location. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this stay to a friend. It was very warm and clean and had all the facilities we needed.
