Atlantic way Apartment

Apartment is modern, clean, had a full kitchen and nicely presented. Bathroom was modern and clean - shower was very nice indeed. Parking onsite was available which was great. Attention to detail with nice touches (visitor information etc) was evident. Very nice and well designed apartments.

Communication from the host could have been better. Didn't receive any information about the accommodation until we asked for check in information on the day of arrival. We were provided an eircode for arrival so found their place easy but there was no sign to say Atlantic Way Apartment so we were uncertain if we had arrived at the right place. The accommodation is located at the back of their property so we felt weird driving into someone's driveway unsure if that was the place. Luckily it was! So for future guests, the eircode is right. However, a sign out the front would be helpful. Although the place was modern, clean and had great facilities, we were disappointed by the quality of the beds provided - they felt fragile, thin and squeaked when we got into them. The pillows were also flimsy and thin. Unfortunately we didn't have the best sleep at this place. We are tall and above average in weight so maybe it suits a thinner, smaller person better.

The apartment is very modern and has everything you could possibly need. It was a perfect base with which to travel to Rosses Point where we had booked several rounds of golf during our stay. Beds were very comfy, plenty of hot water. WiFi reception was great also. We only used the kitchen for breakfast each morning but we had everything we needed.

Only downside is the location if wanting to travel into Sligo town. It's about 15-20 minute drive and you will probably have to drive as getting a taxi is quite tricky. We left car in Sligo town overnight and there was no problem getting a taxi back to the apartment.

Private beautifully appointed self-cater apartment in a magical spot. Kind and responsive host. Well-stocking with cooking basics. Easy drive to Gleniff Horseshoe, Streedagh Beach and other spots in Sligo.

We stayed in Apartment 2 for a week while attending the Sligo Jazz Festival concerts each evening. It was a great location, near the beach and lots of beautiful places to visit during the day, and also not far from Sligo town. The apartment is very well equipped if you want to eat in, and if you needed it the heating has the place very cosy within minutes.
